Comprised of individuals with a broad range of complementary skills and experience, the team has proven over the past ten years a strong sense of cohesion, solidarity, creativity and resilience.
Olma TeamPhilippe, a co-founder of OLMA, has worked in private equity and M&A markets for the past 20 years. He has served on the boards of more than 30 companies and overseen more than 100 investments in almost every sector of the economy. Philippe holds an MBA from HEC Paris.
Stéphane was formerly an M&A and private equity lawyer at White & Case. Before joining the firm in 2016 as a Partner, he practiced law for more than 10 years in Paris, Singapore and New York, and has been involved in a wide range of investment opportunities and LBOs. He is an alumni of Cornell University and a former member of the Paris Bar and of the NY State Bar.
Before joining OLMA in 2013, Ludovic was a TS manager at Mazars Financial Advisory Services involved in numerous domestic and international transactions for corporate and private equity clients. Ludovic is one of the historical partners of OLMA and has been involved in OLMA’s success being instrumental in leading investment operations. Ludovic is a graduate of Toulouse Business School.
George, a co-founder of OLMA, is an English qualified solicitor, previously with law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and White & Case, specialising in M&A and corporate transactions across a number of sectors, including energy, industrial and services advising and working alongside a number of major corporates and investment houses.
Hervé cumulates more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining OLMA in early 2020, he worked in the investment fund sector in both Paris and London before taking on the role of CFO for various start-ups and medium-sized businesses. Hervé holds a Master's degree in Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering from Paris-Dauphine University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Alexandre joined OLMA in 2022 from the Corporate Development Team of the worldwide logistics and supply chain GEODIS Group where he actively participated in the development of US activities. He previously worked in the M&A advisory department of Société Générale where he specialized in Consumer, Retail and Luxury sectors for six years. He was involved in numerous domestic and international transactions for corporate and private equity clients. Alexandre is a graduate of EDHEC Business School.
Alex previously worked for a private equity broker in Boston and for Faber Novel, a digital consulting firm in Paris. He also worked in Hong Kong for Lactalis, the world leader in dairy production. Alex is a graduate of Northeastern University D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
Hauk has experience across private equity, consulting and industry in London and Oslo. He joined from the M&A team at ERM, the world's largest sustainability consultancy. Experience in commercial, technical and ESG advisory, including strategy for the VC unit of a FAANG firm. Hauk graduated from King's College London with a first, having read Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
French and American, Sophie has worked for over 20 years in public relations and organisation consulting. She started her career in 2001 in large groups such as Suez and Deloitte, before creating her own real estate consulting firm in 2010. In 2016, she joins Emmanuel Macron’s new political party En Marche where she organises fundraising events and campaign meetings until his election in 2017. After an experience in the team of the Secretary of State Adrien Taquet, she joins OLMA in 2021.
Raphaël previously worked for McKinsey & Company, EY and the Circle strategy consulting firm and as an independent consultant. In his work, Raphaël has supported several large groups and SMEs with their growth and industrial transformation strategy. Raphaël holds an MSc Finance from ESADE Business School.
Charles has worked in the venture capital and investment industry for forty years. During the past twenty-seven years he has served as a consultant to international investment funds and investors with interests in Russia and Ukraine. Charles holds an MBA degree from UCLA, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University.
Jeremy, a co-founder of OLMA, has been a key investor in three companies that were sold to strategic investors over the past 20 years: an investment bank and brokerage (Brunswick Brokerage) bought by UBS in 1998; a top luxury retailer (Jamilco); and a medical brand sold to Sinclair IS Pharma in 2014. Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
Nicolas, a co-founder of OLMA, has extensive business development, sales, marketing and finance experience, foremost as founder of RUSDEL, an exclusive Russian distributor of internationally renowned brands such as Longchamp and TUMI. He has also overseen and followed a number of investments in luxury businesses in Europe and the Far East.
Thibaut is one of OLMA’s key investors. He is president of Malovat, his family office investing in a large range of industries and the former General Director of Montaigne Capital, a French asset manager. Specialised in listed equities and PE investments in the industrial sector, Thibaut is also an acute observer of the luxury industry. He worked for several years in New York and is an active investor in and board member of a number of several companies in France and abroad.
Pierre was CEO of the luxury group Jimmy Choo between 2012 and 2020, which he helped to establish their large Asian presence, and take the company through an IPO and then sale to Michael Kors for $1.4 Billion. Previously for more than 20 years he held key management positions in renowned luxury brands such as Dior and LVMH. Since 2020, he has been an active investor in more than 20 luxury and retail tech companies and advisor and board member for other businesses, notably Coty.
Sam joined OLMA in 2022 as the principal analyst for OLMA’s venture projects. Sam has worked at several fast-growing European start-ups and as a consultant advising clients in Europe and the Middle East on business transformation, digitalisation and entrepreneurialism. He is also the founder and director of an acclaimed Swiss teaching consultancy. Sam is a graduate of the University of Warwick.
